What We Believe

We believe the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, written by God through men. We believe that Jesus Christ is the very Son of God and that it is only through personal faith in Him that a person is saved, that is, forgiven of his/her sin and receives the free gift of eternal life.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9, NKJV)

The History of Our Church

The Bible Church of Columbus was begun in June of 2007.  The first service was held on 17th street, in what was formerly the Mormon Church.

In 2009, the members of BCC were able to purchase our current church building and held their first service there on June 21 of that year.

In early 2014, the members of BCC voted to bring Rev. Dave Marvin back to Columbus to become the new Senior Pastor. He officially began his duties on June 1, 2014.
